Visitors’ Centre

On April 2, 2010 Marseillan Historique opened a Visitors’ Centre in Boulevard Lamartine. This caters for the needs of those for whom English is their first or second language. The range of cover is shown in the flyer that is reproduced, below.
From the start the Centre has been popular - in the first week we welcomed people from Sweden, Denmark, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland and England. (Plus a couple of French.)
There has been an amazing number of offers of books to supplement our library.
We soon acquired a library of over 500 titles, and all by popular authors.
The Centre is also the starting point for the tours of the village and port, as well as simply a place for visitors to rest their weary limbs and enjoy a coffee and a natter.
